Pdfa

The verdict of veraPDF on the delivered file at the PDF/A level the render asked for. It says which rules of the format the file passed, by which validator; it says nothing about how an archive keeps the file.

standardstring

Possible values: [PDF/A-2b, PDF/A-3b]

conformantboolean

The file passed every rule of its level. A render delivers a file only when it did.

validatorstring

The validator and its version.

Example: veraPDF 1.30.2
idstring

The validator's own id for this report, which its log names too.

versions object

The versions of what converted and judged the file.

property name*string
pdf_sha256stringnullable

SHA-256 of the file that was judged: the delivered file when the render succeeded, null when no file came back.

messages object[]

The rules the file failed, at most 50; empty for a file that passed.

  • Array [
  • severitystring

    Possible values: [error, warning]

    rulestringnullable

The clause of ISO 19005 and the test number of veraPDF.

    Example: 6.2.11.4.1-1
    messagestring
    locationstringnullable

veraPDF's path to the object of the PDF.

  • ]
  • truncatedboolean

Present and true when more rules failed than messages holds.
