render_input_expired

HTTP 410 · code: "render_input_expired" · type: https://docs.formfeed.dev/errors/render-input-expired

The render exists, but its request is not kept: the workspace does not keep render requests, or the period it keeps them for has ended. request_data_retention in the problem is the workspace's setting: off, 24h or 7d.

Example

{
"type": "https://docs.formfeed.dev/errors/render-input-expired",
"title": "Render request not kept",
"status": 410,
"detail": "The request of this render was not kept: the workspace does not keep render requests (Settings, Keep render requests)",
"code": "render_input_expired",
"request_data_retention": "off",
"request_id": "req_4b7c1e9a2f3d4c5b8a6e7f9012"
}

Common causes

  • GET /renders/{id}/input or formfeed renders pull in a workspace where Keep render requests is off, which is the default.
  • The render completed more than 24 hours (or 7 days) ago.
  • The render completed before the setting was turned on.
  • The plan was downgraded, which shortened the retention at once.

How to fix it

  • Ask an owner or admin to turn on Keep render requests under Settings (Starter plan and above: up to 24 hours on Starter, up to 7 days from Pro on), then reproduce the problem with a new render.
  • Pull renders soon after they fail. See Reproduce a failed render.

Retry?

No. A request that was not kept does not come back.
